At different times, different categories of foods have been demonized. For decades we were taught the all fat was bad. [That was hard for many of us to get over.] Protein has been cast as an evil character as well. Currently, there is a lot of chatter about all carbohydrates being bad. The truth is that these are macronutrients and all three of them are necessary to maintain a healthy body.
Carbohydrates have numerous benefits in maintaining a sustainable nutrition practice. Not all carbohydrates aka carbs are the same. Many factors can affect how our body responds to them in various forms. Listen to this episode to learn about how to make them work for you.
