Body Image issues are largely thought of a problem for adolescent girls and younger women. But studies now indicate that midlife women and women over 50 are just as likely to struggle with body image and disordered eating.
If these women are going to get the assistance they need, the health care and fitness communities need to be aware that this is a growing problem.
Women over 50 with disordered eating (not the same as an eating disorder) and body-image issues need to know that they are not alone.
Thank you for tuning and remember to check back on Tuesdays for a new episode.
This episode and Grateful Fitness will not diagnose or treat an eating disorder.
